Still not sure what happened, etc - it's kinda of fuzzy on Travis' end as far as whose at fault and all. I'd be really surprised if the Nissan is recoverable (you think?) - it's served us well since it's a 1993 Nissan Sentra that's been thru a mom (me) and small children to teenage boy drivers and then back to the mom-mobile again in it's 17 years. Hopefully, the police report will give us more info. No info on the other folks either, except 2 of the 3 folks in that car (possibly a truck or suv) were also transported to the hospital.
Travis actually has a huge gash on the top of his head requiring 10+ staples - not even sure what caused the gash, maybe the sun visor.
...here's the seat belt bruising as of around 9p the night of and "happy" medicated Travis gives us a thumbs up :-) He's hurting and sore and going to get worse (per Dr.). Most of the hurt is the upper torso/chest. X-rays were clear on any colapsed lung(s) and clear on any broken ribs - buirsing including buirsed muscles is a whole 'nother story...
Lucky us? We get a new experience of dealing with police reports and impound lots and insurance companies OH MY!!

Always the bright side. **grin**. Sure sounds fun dealing with police reports, impound lots, and insurance companies - NOT!!! At least Travis is ok.
MR: Unfortunately you've already had experience on this type of road trip. I've filed that away in case I need advise. And, you are so so right! THANK GOODNESS TRAVIS IS OK!!
All that matters is that Travis is ok. Thank you Lord for that!!!
