Summer's End

Labor Day may mark the traditional end of summer, but the temps here are only into the 90s.  That means there are still plenty of summer activities around here left to do.  Attraction schedules have been modified to weekends since public schools and colleges started back a couple of weeks ago. But, there's still tons of fun under the hot Texas sun :D

I ran around yesterday with Grandma/Mom and one of our stops was Sprouts...I picked up some wonderful strawberries, blackberries and 2.5 lbs of extra lean ground beef for $1.99 a lb!  That translates to about $5.00 for several burgers that Travis grilled for us today.  Boy Oh Boy! they were GREAT!!!  Had to laugh at my guys when I told them don't get to used to the "better" level of beef....they just grinned and enjoyed :-)
